THE TRITAN PHILOSOPHY
Our goal at Tritan is to grow and strengthen brands in the New Zealand retail market place. We believe that when a brand is managed properly, it will have a long and successful life. We work closely with each brand ensuring that all the hard work in brand equity is used to its fullest.
With a great network of over 200 retailers in a wide variety of action sports markets across New Zealand, we look at each brand and select the appropriate partners to grow the sales and represent the brand in the best way possible. Retail is an ever changing market and we put great effort in working closely with our retailers to ensure maximum benefit for both them and the brand represented. Their success is also our success.
Striving to market brands with retailers, training, providing helpful and timely customer service, ensuring correct and on time delivery, are just a few ways of making the buying experience pleasant and worthwhile. We follow each brands global direction closely. Ensuring we always operate with the best long term interests for each brand. Following global marketing initiatives and where needed add a New Zealand flavour.
Sales showings are conducted on the road or in our offices. We show the full story to every retailer each season. Every retailer is part of the brand story and we try to show the same respect to each.
WORKING SINCE 2000
Tritan Imports started out as Pyramid Distribution Limited in the year 2000. Pyramid's beginnings saw a main focus on distributing Snow brands to retailers with a couple Summer brands on the side. The timing was great into the snow market and our focus on customer service developed as we grew. Servicing the snow and surf market allowed us to grow dramatically, moving more into the surf fashion field. In 2011 Tritan Imports Limited was started to import and distribute several brands. The two companies combined late 2012.
Sales: We strive to provide the best sales experience for the retailer. We commit to travel each season bringing all the samples to show each time. If the retailer cannot make it to the showing we bring the showing to them. Sales is not just about holding up a T shirt. It is about telling the brand story, how it fits in the retailers mix. How to display it better. What will work for them, not just us. We conduct sales staff technical sessions. These are invaluable for staff training and interaction between ourselves and the guy selling our product on the floor. This helps promote the brand and instantly gives the retail staff a gem or two to help relate to the customer and close the sale.
We are currently the New Zealand Distributors for Creatures of Leisure, Futures Fins, Rhythm Swear and clothing, Leus Towels, Dragon, Nike SB Sunglasses, Jetpilot, Liquid Force, 686, Arbor Skateboards, Arbor Snowboard
We have a great team here at Tritan. Sales are conducted by our three brand managers including myself (Koenraad). Our back office team consist of an accounts service member and an admin, customer service and warehouse member.
Our warehouse has a showroom, office and a large warehousing space. We are located in Mount Maunganui. The warehouse is a customs certified transitional facility. At Tritan we strive to offer exceptional customer service and to have all orders sent out daily maximising the selling opportunities.
